House Manager – Deaf Services

Full Time (37.5 hrs)

Salary: $60,450 – $62,400 per year

• Assisting in the development of maximum independence, responsibility, and self-worth for residents.
• Integrating quality‑of‑life ideals into daily management and program development.
• Preparing and implementing program goals, individual service plans, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, guardians, and service providers.
• Ensuring appropriate healthcare, medical, and dental care and promoting healthy lifestyle choices.

• Directly supervise a team of direct care staff.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
• Interview, hire, and train employees.
• Plan, assign, train, and direct work.
• Address complaints and resolve problems.
• Provide on‑call responsibilities, including out‑of‑hours emergencies.

• Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, Social Work, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience, or one (+) years of related experience and active enrollment in a related degree program.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• CPR/First Aid certification and safety care required (training provided).
• Proficiency with basic technology and electronic documentation systems.
