Enterprise Architect

Akkodis is seeking an Enterprise Architect for a Contract with a client in North Quincy, MA
. Candidate must have deep expertise in microservices architecture with required hands‑on experience in saga pattern implementation, database‑per‑service design, and performance tuning.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $57/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Architect scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot or Python with strong focus on database‑per‑service design.
• Implement saga pattern orchestration to ensure reliable distributed transactions across services.
• Optimize database structures, queries, and stored procedures for Postgres, Redshift, and other supported systems.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient build, test, and deployment processes.
• Enhance application performance through tuning, query optimization, and microservice‑level improvements.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate message queues, event‑driven components, and cross‑service communication patterns.

• Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems design.
• Required strong expertise in microservices architecture, saga pattern orchestration, and database‑per‑service development.
• Required hands‑on experience with Postgres/Redshift databases, Java/Spring Boot or Python services, and CI/CD pipeline development.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $57.00 per hour
