Who we are looking for
We are looking for a lead software engineer who can contribute to the development, enhancement and maintenance of the Enterprise Investment Performance Calculation Engine and associated Info Delivery components. The candidate will build cloud‑based data‑warehouse solutions for F2B clients in the North America region.
Why this role is important to usThe team you will join is part of the Data Engineering and Data Delivery function, a capability vital to the company as it enables the timely, reliable, and scalable delivery of critical financial data that supports core business operations, reporting, and decision‑making.
What you will be responsible for- Provide technical leadership and oversight across architecture, system design and code quality, including proof of concepts, code reviews and mentoring.
- Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure, Data Bricks and Snowflake.
- Work closely with a global team of engineers and operational analysts to deliver reliable feature sets for AI/ML models and high‑quality data for business intelligence.
- Support implementation and operations teams with platform accelerators and design patterns.
- Automate release engineering for code distribution to different client regions and instances.
- Optimize the total cost of ownership, including compute and platform infrastructure costs.
- Provide production and support during overnight COB/SOB processing of investment accounting, fund accounting and performance data and manage client info delivery.
- Triage data and environment issues, perform impact and root‑cause analysis, and execute corrective, adaptive and perfective maintenance.
- Team player with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, initiative and self‑motivation.
- Good understanding of AI‑enabled programming.
- Ability to multi‑task, be energetic, a fast learner and problem‑solver.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer, information technology or a related subject.
- Eight or more years of professional experience.
Onsite with four days in the office and one day remote; 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. but flexible.
SalaryAnnual salary range: $90,000 – $157,500. The range applies to the role at the specified location and may differ if the candidate ultimately works elsewhere.
