Software Engineering Manager

We are modernizing a mission‑critical custody and securities processing platform supporting high‑volume post‑trade operations. The platform processes large‑scale financial transactions with stringent requirements for availability, resiliency, data integrity, and regulatory compliance across legacy and modern technology environments.

• Lead engineering teams that deliver mission‑critical mainframe and hybrid solutions.
• Drive system and integration patterns for mainframe and hybrid architectures.
• Mentor engineers, enforce strong engineering standards, quality, and operational excellence.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery for critical platform capabilities across design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Drive ongoing platform modernization through workflow optimization, enhanced system integration, automation, and technology lifecycle improvements.
• Partner with product and operations teams to manage delivery across complex, interconnected business processes.
• Provide technical leadership across platform architecture, data platforms, application integration, performance, resiliency, and production stability.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record delivering complex platform modernization and technology initiatives.
• Experience leading end‑to‑end delivery across integrated enterprise systems.
• Agile delivery experience in large‑scale enterprise environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong understanding of enterprise transaction processing, application integration, and data‑intensive systems.
• Experience supporting high‑throughput, business‑critical platforms.
• Ability to balance technical leadership, delivery execution, and team development.
• Skill in navigating regulatory and operational constraints.

Onsite 4 days a week in office and one day remote. Standard business hours aligned to project and stakeholder needs (8am to 5pm).
