Interview Process: 2 rounds, 1 st round will 45-60 mins virtual followed byfinal round in-person interview for an hour.
Client is looking for a senior backend/server-side engineer who is extremely strong in Core Java fundamentals, particularly multithreading, concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.
Looking for someone who is strong in Core Java concepts like multithreading, Data structure, Algorithms, concurrency, team is using Java 17 but manager is openfor someone with strong Java 8 as well, this is for their post-trade application team so if you find someone with Trading application or Capital market background will be huge.
Kafka Very important"Mostofour integrations are Kafka-driven."
Kafka is effectively their primary event streaming platform.
Candidates should have hands-on experience with:
- Event-driven architecture
- Hands-on experience in system design,application development, testing, and operational support of enterprise applications.
- 7+ years of experience in Java (Java 8 orhigher) with strong expertise in Spring Boot 3.
- 3+ years of experience with Kafka or other event-streaming platforms such as RabbitMQ, Client Kinesis, or Azure Service Bus.
- 5+ years of experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with distributed caching andin-memory data grid technologies, such as Hazelcast.
- Proficiency with software development andDevOps toolsets including Git/Bit Bucket, Jira, and Maven.
- Experience designing, deploying, and managingscalable applications on Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of capital markets, with a strong understanding of back-office technology platforms and systems.
