One of the top Quant Investment Firms globally has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join a high profile, business critical team that works directly with their world-class quant researchers and portfolio managers. This role will join a greenfield modernization effort focused on building cloud native applications and platforms with AI enabled capabilities. These systems are critical parts of the workflow for investment analytics, research, and portfolio management teams.

Responsibilities
:
- Design, build, and enhance middle-tier application services supporting investment analytics workflows
- Partner closely with portfolio managers, analysts, researchers, and business users to translate requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions
- Develop scalable tools and services for processing, analyzing, and delivering large-scale investment data
- Build and improve full-stack web applications used by internal investment and analytics teams
- Contribute to the architecture and long-term evolution of a modern, cloud-based platform
- Improve installation, deployment, testing, and CI/CD pipelines using containerization and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)
- Use Python, C#, and related technologies to automate workflows and build robust, production-quality analytical applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or similar field)
- 4+ years of professional programming experience with Python
- Experience building applications on AWS (cloud native is a plus)
- Experience with React or other similar modern, frameworks
