Summary
Job Description:
Responsible for safe and orderly transportation of students on assigned route. Operate a school bus, minibus/van that transport students and other authorized personnel to and from schools or designated locations.

- Valid Massachusetts Class B driver’s license with S and P endorsements
- Must be appropriately licensed by the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV)
- Valid DOT School Bus Certificate
- First Aid CPR Certified
- Ability to pass random alcohol and drug test
- Ability to complete required Bus / Van drivers safety training
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of student discipline procedures
- Ability to manage student behavior
- Ability to operate a Bus / Minibus / Van
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and bus driver certificate required
- Quincy Public Schools Bus Drivers must be appropriately licensed by the Massachusetts Registry Motor Vehicles (RMV). Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and bus driver certificate required
- The successful candidate will be subject to a national background check (including CORI, SORI and SAFIS) in accordance with Massachusetts law
- At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred
- High School / Trade School degree preferred
- Citizenship, residency or work Visa required
