Position Summary
In this fast‑paced role you are the boots on the ground and responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling customer orders within the warehouse. Your duties include palletizing orders, ensuring they are placed in the correct assigned locations, and operating motorized equipment such as electric pallet jacks while moving product safely and accurately.
Schedule and Compensation5‑day work schedule; 9:00AM start time; average 10‑12hour shift. Overtime pay. Starting wage $22.75/hr with pay increases upon reaching productivity milestones. Additional incentives include $2.00/hr for weekends and $2.00/hr for freezer environment (if applicable). Pay increases: $1.00/hr after 1 year, $1.50/hr after 2 years.
Position Requirements- Must be 18 years or older.
- Warehouse experience selecting is preferred but not required.
- Lifting objects 20‑60lbs consistently.
- Occasional pushing, reaching, pulling, and gripping.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Identify pick locations and safely pick items.
- Inspect assigned equipment for safety issues.
- Pick the correct item and quantity, checking UPCs or item descriptions.
- Place labels on the side of cases.
- Shrink‑wrap and label with correct truck, stop, and other required information.
- Stage pallets in the appropriate bay and build a stable pallet.
- Operate pallet jack or pushcart safely and efficiently.
- Exercise good judgment when direct supervision is not immediately available.
- Exposure to temperatures ranging from ‑20°F to 35°F in the Perishable Operation and 37°F to 90°F in the Grocery Operation.
- Repetitive arm, wrist, and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures.
- Work with hands and arms overhead, and work in or under equipment.
- Manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance required for work at ground level and in high places.
- Ability to operate work‑related equipment.
- Vision needs: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
