Rate:
From $75,000/annually (depending on experience, skills, and qualifications)

Maintain clean, organized, and secure warehouse, loading dock, greenhouse, yard, and storage areas.

Monitor inventory organization, material flow, and operational efficiency.

Identify operational challenges and recommend process improvements that strengthen workflow and productivity

Lead daily warehouse safety initiatives and reinforce compliance with Cityscapes policies, OSHA requirements, and safe work practices.

Conduct routine inspections of the warehouse, equipment, vehicles, and storage areas; promptly address identified safety concerns.

Coordinate employee safety training and maintain required training logs, inspection records, and other safety documentation.

Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions as needed.

Reinforce proper material handling, equipment operation, housekeeping standards, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Keep the warehouse prepared for inspections and audits.

Provide hand-on daily leadership, coaching, and support to warehouse assistants, laborers, drivers, and seasonal employees.

Support the interviewing, onboarding, orientation, and training of new team members.

Assign daily work, monitor productivity, and reinforce quality, safety, and performance expectations.

Communicate staffing needs, operational issues, and employee performance concerns to the Director of Logistics.

Coordinate daily warehouse priorities with the Director of Logistics and adjust workflows to meet operational demands.

Coordinate routine maintenance and inspections for warehouse equipment, vehicles, and facility assets.

Help implement new warehouse procedures and continuous process improvements.

At least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, or a related environment.

At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.

Working knowledge of warehouse safety practices, OSHA requirements, and regulatory compliance.

Experience training, coaching, and developing employees.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities.

Ability to lead by example and foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with warehouse or inventory management systems is preferred.

Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, and perform occasional physical warehouse duties as business needs require.

Based in the Cityscapes warehouse, with a combination of office work and regular movement throughout the warehouse, loading dock, greenhouse, yard, and storage areas.

Frequent interaction with warehouse staff, drivers, vendors, and operational leaders to coordinate daily activities.

Occasional lifting, bending, climbing, loading and unloading materials, and hand-on support of warehouse operations.

Exposure to varying temperatures, weather conditions, noise, forklifts, delivery vehicles, and other warehouse equipment.
