Full-time, seasonal - approximately August to November. Work may be up to seven days/week.
Summary of positionThe seasonal Receiving Crew serves as the checkpoint for incoming trucks delivering bins of apples to Starr Ranch's Quincy warehouse. The team is responsible for scanning bins received, performing quality control checks, directing drivers to storage locations, and documenting data / entering applicable information into the computer.
Qualifications- Positive attitude; able to work collaboratively with team members
- Professional, respectful, and courteous
- Sufficient English language skills, to be able to communicate with and direct truck drivers to storage locations
- Highly accurate and attentive to detail
- Able to work long hours for the receiving period (approximately August-November)
- Able to tolerate and work in varying temperatures (excessive heat or cold, as may be typical for the receiving months)
- Able to work up to seven days per week for the receiving period
- Comfortable with computers
