Position DescriptionThe Accounts Payable Specialist supports the Accounts Payable Supervisor in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of all accounts payable activities. Responsibilities include invoice processing, vendor payments, account reconciliation, and maintaining strong internal controls while continuously improving efficiency within the AP function.
Key Responsibilities- Process and review invoices and vendor payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain internal controls and improve AP processes
- Assist with month‑end close activities
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience
- Experience in electronic AP processing environments
- Knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
- Experience with month‑end close
- SAP proficiency
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred) or equivalent
- Fast‑paced, high‑growth organization
- Minimal travel required
