Tax Accountant

We’re partnering with a well-established professional services firm that is continuing to grow and invest in its accounting and tax teams. This group operates in a collaborative environment, working closely with leadership and clients to deliver high-quality financial and tax solutions.

This Tax Associate will play a key role in supporting a variety of tax engagements, with a focus on individual tax work. You’ll partner directly with senior team members and leadership, gaining strong exposure to client-facing responsibilities while contributing to overall team development and process improvements.

• Prepare and review individual tax returns, with exposure to other entity types as needed
• Support tax planning and compliance efforts across a diverse client base
• Assist with research on tax regulations and application to client situations
• Collaborate with senior staff and leadership on client deliverables and deadlines
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable standards
• Assist with general accounting or financial reporting support as needed
• Contribute to process improvements and support special projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Relevant accounting experience, ideally within public accounting or tax-focused environments
• Exposure to individual tax returns and related compliance work
• Experience with tax software and proficiency in Excel
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

• Experience working with individual clients and high-net-worth returns is a plus
• Exposure to partnerships or corporate returns is beneficial but not required
• CPA eligibility or progress toward certification is a plus
• Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify efficiencies
