Accounting Specialist
We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations for an organization in Racine, Wisconsin. The position offers an opportunity to contribute across both payables and receivables while assisting with reconciliations and routine journal activity.
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and help ensure timely payment of outstanding obligations.
- Prepare customer billing records, post incoming payments, and follow up on account activity as needed.
- Complete bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate cash reporting.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis and resolve variances in a timely manner.
- Record accounting entries with attention to accuracy, classification, and supporting detail.
- Assist with maintaining organized financial records and documentation for routine accounting review.
- Collaborate with internal team members to address questions related to transactions, balances, and account status.
