Traveling Site Superintendent

Job Overview

ACS is looking for a Site Manager – Site Superintendent to manage on‑site construction activities at our projects located throughout the United States.

• Serve as ACS’s point of contact at the project site and coordinate with the customer and the ACS project team.
• Execute projects successfully, ensuring work is delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Read drawings, manage subcontractors’ work, and effectively manage project schedules and deadlines.
• Balance multiple tasks and respond to changes in deadline, scope, and design as they occur.
• Prevent and detect safety violations and communicate safe work practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture (preferred). Experience or coursework in mechanical systems is a bonus.
• Work experience in the construction industry is a plus.
• Ability to read drawings, manage subcontractors, and effectively handle project schedules.
• Knowledge of MS Project scheduling software is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational, time‑management, and team‑working skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; technical writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with all internal and external levels and groups.
• Ability and willingness to travel to client locations for extended periods while projects are in progress.
