Project Manager – Mechanical Construction

A growing mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial, industrial, healthcare, and mission-critical construction projects throughout the Greater Milwaukee area.

Responsibilities
  • Manage mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project execution plans
  • Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation
  • Monitor project costs, labor, procurement, and financial performance
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
  • Support multiple projects while maintaining a high level of organization and communication
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within HVAC, MEP, or mechanical construction
  • Experience supporting mission‑critical, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, or large commercial projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction logistics, job costing, project financials, and scheduling
  • Proven ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Autodesk Build, Spectrum ERP, or similar platforms
  • Up to $150,000 based on experience
