DME Customer Service & Order Processing Representative (Entry Level)

What You’ll DoIn this role, you’ll support patients, providers, and internal teams by ensuring DME orders are processed accurately and on time. Your day‑to‑day includes:
- Handling approximately 30 inbound calls and 40–50 outbound calls focused on order updates and patient support
- Assisting walk‑in patients with basic DME order entry
- Navigating multiple EMR systems to gather necessary documentation
- Entering, reviewing, and verifying order details, authorizations, and expiration dates
- Communicating ongoing insurance trends with Customer Service and Management
- Requesting the setup of new insurance carriers when needed
- Contacting patients when documentation doesn’t meet payer guidelines and helping guide next steps
- Responding to calls and emails promptly to support referral processing and patient inquiries
- Documenting all interactions and updates according to company processes
- Verifying and submitting orders with a high level of accuracy
- Meeting quality assurance goals and performance metrics
- Helping resolve customer concerns with patience and professionalism
- Strong customer service (retail, call center, office service, etc.)
- Healthcare Call Center Experience (Insurance Verification)
- Order entry and data entry experience
- Comfort with both inbound and outbound calling
- Ability to stay organized while handling multiple tasks
- Bilingual (Spanish)

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Racine, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
