Working as an On call

You will work collaboratively with teachers to ensure the successful operation of a classroom, while helping to build a better future for the children, their families and our communities.

• Work effectively with other teachers in the assigned classroom and center
• Support the social and emotional development of children using “positive guidance” approaches to dealing with challenging behaviors
• Encourage the involvement of families in a Head Start program and support the development of relationships between children and their families
• Follow all Acelero Learning policies and procedures related to health, safety, nutrition, and other aspects of center operations

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Substitute Certification Preferred or Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree.
• The commitment and passion to work with children and families.
• Effective communication and written skills.
