Position OverviewPrepare and teach one section of FINA 4121, Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits, 3 credits
Course description
- A concise overview of retirement planning strategies and employee benefits. Students explore key retirement savings options, including 401(k) s, IRAs and pensions, as well as the basics of employee benefits like health insurance and life insurance. Equips students with the knowledge to advise on retirement and benefits planning in both individual and organizational contexts.
Prepare a well-organized syllabus and teaching plan that clearly reflects the course objectives as well as expectations, conduct well-prepared class sessions that effectively deliver the course content and engages students, administer meaningful and relevant assignments, and grade students’ work with an emphasis on student development.
Required Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
Preferred Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
Teaching experience in the relevant area at the university level or professional training experience strongly preferred.
