Manufacturing Engineering Intern/Co-op - Fall 2026
Intern & Co-op & Youth App Clerical – Racine, Racine County, WI, US
We are looking for 1 Intern/Co-op for the Fall 2026 semester who can work full time, onsite, with employment starting in September. The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will work with a team of Engineers, Toolmakers, and Maintenance Mechanics that provide technical expertise to develop practical solutions for manufacturing and improvement of Andis products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESOther duties as assigned.
- Upholds Andis Core Values of Excellence, Integrity, and Respect in all work-related activities
- Work with Manufacturing, Product, Quality Engineering, and Production Team in support of New Product Verification Builds
- Perform time studies and update routers in ERP System
- Work with production team to create and revise Manufacturing Work instructions
- Support and/or lead investigations to determine options for change and improvement to manufacturing process
- Process Manufacturing Change Requests
- Must be enrolled in an accredited technical school or university studying toward an associate/bachelor's degree in engineering. Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office, preferably Word and Excel. Experience with AutoCAD or Solidworks is a plus.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Engineers, Designers, supervisors, and peers.
- Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Highly motivated, good interpersonal skills, well organized and able to work independently but knows when to ask for assistance when needed.
