Job Purpose:

In this role, you will be responsible for improving manufacturing efficiency, cost, product quality, and worker safety by analyzing current methods, new methods, new technologies and cost reduction activities in selected areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides production support for safety, quality, delivery, operator training certification, line balancing, tooling/equipment engineering, and cost optimization.
  • Sustains plant and engineering standards - process documentation accuracy, change management and workplace organization.
  • Implements projects and process solutions to improve plant KPI's, while ensuring each project meets technical specifications, deadlines, and budget constraints.
  • Analyzes, documents, investigates and implements corrections for process failures.
  • Develops and implements capital projects and assists in the development of justification for new capital equipment, while managing the installation and start up processes.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize engineering processes, designs, and overall manufacturability.
  • Develops, designs and plans equipment and assembly layouts, workflow, and safety precautions to maximize utilization of the plant and manufacturing facilities.
  • Supports and participates in new product launch builds.
  • Provides feedback and follows up on process improvement requirements for manufacturability and customer experience.
  • Experience

    Required:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Agricultural or Mechanical) or related field.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    3+ years manufacturing experience. Proven ability to be a team player. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Basic understanding of project management and prioritization skills. Excellent communication abilities. Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement experience. Experience related to process controls engineering and PLC programming to automate processes. Experience related to fixture and tool design and 3D printing.

    Pay Transparency:
    The annual salary for this role is USD $63,750.00 - $85,000.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
