Position Description
The Engineering Manager – Controls & Embedded Systemsis responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and support of control systems for commercial vehicles. This role is primarily focused on leading engineering efforts, guiding team performance, and serving as a key interface between Modine and OEM customers for compliance-related activities.

Required Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 7–10+ years of experience in controls engineering, automotive systems, software or related technical disciplines.
- Prior experience in a technical leadership or people management role.
- Strong background in controls system design and implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving, root cause analysis, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated program or project management capability.
- Experience in vehicular thermal management, HVAC, or off-highway/automotive systems.
- Exposure to or working knowledge of:
Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) Automotive cybersecurity standards and practices Programming experience in embedded systems (C, Java, XML, Python). PLC Programming experience Familiarity with CAN, J1939, and UDS protocols. Knowledge of electrical codes, such as NEC, UL, IEC and CE.
