Design Engineer
Randstad is looking for a Design Engineer to support its heavy equipment client improve hydraulic systems on its off road vehicles. Contract is long term.

Job Duties1) Review designs and complete drawings per project plan and as defined by Scrum team
2) Meet Drawing KPI of 90% or more
3) On time delivery of designs and validation to meet project schedules
4) Support prototype vehicle builds as necessary
Support understanding the profile allocated, finding details of the problem, finding root cause of the issue, following 7 steps for issue resolution, release drawings, working with scrum and hydraulics team and completing DVP and solution identified to fix the issue, release ECO, complete Teamcenter, Create WO and Support builds. Basic understanding of hydraulic systems and line routings for off highway equipment.
Job RequirementsResource must be onsite in Racine, WI
In this role you will use your design engineering experience to help resolve issues with hydraulic systems on heavy, off road equipment. This role is hands on and you'll regularly engage both the Hydraulic and Scrum teams. Root cause analysis is a large part of the job as is the seven-step methodology procedure to document and resolve these issues.
1) Review designs and complete drawings per project plan and as defined by Scrum team
2) Meet Drawing KPI of 90% or more
3) On time delivery of designs and validation to meet project schedules
4) Support prototype vehicle builds as necessary
Critical knowledge and experience includes designing hydraulic lines, hose materials, flows, pressures, industry standards for Hydraulic systems
