Mechanical Engineer

Randstad is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in large agricultural equipment or vehicle systems to assist with problem solving related to tractor sub systems in Racine WI.

CREO Pro Piping Mechanical Design Teamcenter

The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for the following:

• Problem-solving related to tractor subsystems. This includes but is not limited to hydraulic, drivetrain, operator cab, engine subsystems, and/or electrical functions of the vehicle.
• Support root cause investigations to confidently identify solutions that can be implemented for customers.
• Creating or updating engineering specifications to ensure component quality is achieved in a repeatable manner Incorporating engineering standards, methodologies, and Client product development processes into daily work tasks.
• Utilizing CREO and Teamcenter as the primary digital tools for investigation and design activity.
• Developing plans to achieve cost and reliability targets of components and systems.

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, AG Engineering, or a similar degree with 5+ years of experience
- Demonstrated ability to drive solutions for failure modes, using a structured problem-solving methodology.

- Mechanical Design experience
- Experience using CREO and CREO Pro Piping module

- Experience with Team Center
- Strong Interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills.

- Extensive proficiency with MS Office suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.

- Ability to work independently, recognize issues that need to be raised- A bias towards action in order to quickly understand the root cause and corrective actions.
