Diffusion Operations shift supervisors lead a team of technicians focused on maintaining operational condition of state-of-the-art semiconductor production equipment.

In this role, you will be responsible for team development and shift performance – balancing the development of your team’s technical and professional skills while driving achievement of key quality, production and cost performance metrics.

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Coordinateandleadteammeetingsandcoordinateteammembers’dailyworkloadandsustainingactivitiesinthefabwhennecessary
• Ensuretimelyresponsetoout-of-controlorout-of-specificationconditionstominimizeimpacttoproductionandquality
• Monitorequipmentstatusandtechnicianresponsethroughoutassignedshifttoensureavailabilitygoalsaremet
• Leadthedevelopment,reviewandimprovementofoperationalandtechnicaldocumentationtoidentifyanddriveoperationalefficiencyimprovements
• EnsureSOPs,PTPs,andOutof Control Action Plans (OCAPs) areutilizedtoworksafely,efficiently,andcost-effectively
• Supervise electrical,pneumatic,andmechanicaltroubleshootingactivitiestoensurebestcourseofcorrectiveactionisdeterminedandexecuted

What You’ll Need:

• Education:
  
  Highschooldiploma/GEDisrequired;
  
  Technicaldegreeorequivalentmilitarytechnicalexperiencestronglypreferred,butnotrequired
• 5+yearsofsemi-conductorexperienceinhighvolumemanufacturingenvironmenthighlydesired
• Knowledge of Diffusion,TEL/KEFurnace,AMATEPIand/orCVDprocessandequipmentpreferred
• Experiencesupportingequipmentmaintenance
• Experiencesupportingprocessdevelopmentandsustaining

At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package. The base compensation for this role will depend on education, experience, skills, and location.
