SC Johnson is seeking a dynamic and strategic finance professional to join our team as a key business partner and financial subject matter expert to support our BPT leadership team.
In this individual contributor Manager level role, you will drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic investment analysis. This is a high‑visibility position that plays a critical part in aligning technology investments with the company’s long‑term goals.
You will report to a Director of FP&A.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the development and management of BPT’s annual budget including operational and capital expenditures.
- Perform forecasting and variance analyses on a monthly basis to provide on financial performance and partner with the BPT function to ensure annual budgets are delivered.
- Collaborate with BPT leadership and cross functional partners to develop business plans associated with BPT investments including NPV analysis and writing Major Expenditure Authorization (“MEA”) documents.
- Identify cost savings opportunities and implement strategies to optimize BPT spending.
- Support the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and systems that support the Better Work Better World digitization strategy and the transformation of the current ERP system.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, controls and relevant accounting standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 7+ years of directly related accounting or finance experience, OR an advanced degree with 5+ years of directly related experience
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization and across functions.
- Deals well with ambiguity and leads others through change by zeroing in on the critical few.
- Natural attention to detail; drives decisions with higher-level data and insights.

- This position is located at the Global Headquarters on Howe Street in Racine
- Full time, Monday through Friday business hours
- Remote work available one day a week following a 90-day onboarding period
- This position is not eligible for relocation
