About Our Property

Located along the western shores of Lake Michigan, Wingspread Retreat & Executive Conference Center encompasses three buildings on 36 acres of natural landscape. The iconic Wingspread building is the heart of the complex, with a modern 40-room Guest House and a conference facility. Over 15,000 square feet of meeting space offers inspiring views. The cleanliness of a hotel is a key reason guests return. We are looking for individuals with great attention to detail to join our Housekeeping team. The ideal candidate creates a memorable guest experience through care in preparing and maintaining guest rooms. This role is the “Heart of the House” and supports guests to truly relax and enjoy their stay. Experienced housekeepers may have opportunities to grow into supervisory or management roles.

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
• Work as a team to achieve resort/hotel cleanliness
• Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked
• Proper utilization of equipment, supplies, and guest amenities
• Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas
• Daily changing and inspection of linens and towels, following the Green Program
• Practice safety standards and report hazards (e.g., broken glass, frayed cords, leaks, broken locks, suspicious persons)
• Respect for guests’ property
• Responsible care of equipment
• Report to work on time and follow posted schedules
• Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co-workers
• Perform other related duties as requested by Floor Supervisor

• Housekeeping experience desirable
• Neat, pleasant personality
• Time management skills
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
• Ability to move, reach corners, operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, and other tools
• Lift, carry and position loads of at least 25 lbs

$14.00 – $15.00 per hour
