Print Support Specialist
Racine, WI (Onsite)
• 2+ Month Contract
• M-F (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• Driving is required (all within a 15-minute drive)
Candidate who receive an offer will be required to successfully complete a background check and drug test as a condition of employment.
Responsible for the daily support of the site-specific network and workstation printers. Focuses on delivering excellent customer service while responding to technical support requests, documenting service activity, and ensuring service level agreements are achieved. Supports printer fleet operations, inventory management, procurement, and on-site service coordination. Position is based in Racine, WI, with local travel required immediately.
Responsibilities- Provide daily support for network and workstation printers
- Monitor and manage Service Now ticket queue
- Perform basic break/fix troubleshooting and remote support
- Escalate complex issues to technicians or management as needed
- Place and coordinate service calls; assist with installations and machine moves (within 15-minute radius)
- Keep customers informed on service progress and resolution
- Document all service calls, troubleshooting steps, and fleet meter reads
- Maintain printer fleet tools and databases
- Manage on-site hardware, hot swap equipment, and consumables inventory
- Support printer procurement as required
- Reassign tickets not related to printer issues
- Provide regular fleet status updates
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education preferred
- IT Help Desk support experience (application and hardware support)
- Technical familiarity with printers and basic networking
- HP certifications preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage diversified assignments
- Valid driver’s license; driving required immediately
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 20 lbs.; comfortable moving printers (typically on wheels)
- Moderate computer and hand tool proficiency
- Business casual dress code
- Phone interview required
