Job Title: Azure Cloud Architect
Location-Type: Remote
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Contract, 6 months
Compensation Range: $65-$80/hr
Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K

- The Azure Cloud Architect will design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure cloud solutions that drive digital transformation and operational efficiency for a large-scale enterprise.
- Architect, design, and implement Azure-based solutions to meet business and technical requirements across large-scale enterprise operations.
- Lead cloud transformation initiatives, including migration of on-premises workloads to Azure and adoption of cloud-native services.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Git Hub for version control and CI/CD automation.
- Design and deploy AI and data services on Azure, supporting advanced analytics, machine learning, and automation use cases.
- Ensure all solutions are secure, compliant, highly available, and cost-optimized across the environment.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to integrate Azure services with existing enterprise systems.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams and third-party partners.
- Document architectural designs, standards, and operational procedures, and stay current with Azure innovations and cloud-native patterns.
- 10 years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or operations with a focus on Microsoft Azure in large enterprise environments.
- Strong background in automation and scripting (e.g., Power Shell, Python) and Dev Ops practices.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for IaC and Git Hub for source control and automation pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement AI/ML resources and workflows on Azure.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization (e.g., AKS, Docker).
- Associate's degree in any field.
- Proven experience designing and deploying solutions using Azure IaaS, PaaS, and AI services.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Dev Ops Engineer).
- Experience in the CPG industry or other large-scale manufacturing or retail environments.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Arc, Azure Stack).
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
