Janitorial Worker 2nd Shift

This role focuses on providing high-quality janitorial services in a large, modern data center facility. You will help maintain clean, safe, and orderly office spaces, common areas, restrooms, and data center environments through routine cleaning tasks and occasional outdoor work.

• Perform general janitorial duties in a large data center, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and trash removal in office spaces, common areas, and data center areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and high-touch surfaces.
• Collect, remove, and dispose of trash and recyclables from designated containers throughout the facility.
• Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, and supporting floor care activities as needed.
• Perform occasional outdoor trash removal and light exterior cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Follow established cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and facility standards at all times.
• Use cleaning tools, supplies, and equipment properly and report any maintenance or supply needs.
• Support additional cleaning projects or overtime work as needed to meet facility requirements.

• At least 6 months of experience in janitorial, housekeeping, general production, warehouse, food service, or manufacturing roles.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Reliability and consistency in following cleaning schedules and completing assigned tasks.
• Attention to detail to ensure a clean, safe, and presentable environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety procedures.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift hours and occasional overtime as needed.

• Floor care experience is a plus.
• Experience working in large facilities or industrial environments is beneficial.
• Comfort working in a data center or construction-adjacent environment.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

This is a 2nd shift role, working from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with one schedule option of Tuesday through Saturday and another of Sunday through Thursday. Overtime may be required based on facility needs. The position is based in a large, brand-new data center that is still under construction, so you will work in a modern facility that may include active construction areas.

Steel-toe or composite-toe boots are required as part of the dress code for safety. The work involves moving throughout the facility, performing cleaning tasks indoors and occasionally outdoors, and using standard janitorial tools, supplies, and equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, WI.

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
