A Brief OverviewResponsible for labeling, inspecting packaging, and final boxing of finished goods and kits within a manual packaging process. Picks, packs, and performs support activities related to shipping of finished goods both domestically and internationally. Performs duties related to inventory control. Performs final manufacturing step of packaging to finished goods.
What You Will Do- Perform final manufacturing of product on packaging tables:
Labels pouches and cartons, and assembles materials into finished goods units. Adhere to all GDP and SOP requirements for packaging operations. - Package finished goods:
Labels, inspects, and packages per order requirements. - Prepare product for shipping:
Pick customer orders and prepare product for shipping including packaging pallets per domestic and international shipping requirements and stage for shipping. - Communication with co-workers:
Communicates with supervisor and/or fellow associates on related order questions or concerns. - Accurate documentation:
Accurately documents necessary packing processes performed per procedural requirements. - Housekeeping:
Maintains warehouse cleanliness and order including segregation and proper identification of material. - Maintain Records:
Maintains records, as appropriate, and warehouse area to comply with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices, and standard operating procedures. - Adhere to safety requirements:
Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and following necessary steps to ensure there are no safety concerns. - High School graduate or equivalent
- Prior packaging and/or warehouse experience
- Experience working with medical product manufacturing and/or GMP manufacturing
- Must possess demonstrated math, reading, and writing skills.
- Ability and willingness to ensure accuracy, understand detailed instructions, good interpersonal skills, record of dependability, and attention to detail and quality.
- Basic computer proficiency in ability to enter data and retrieve SOP documents.
- Ability and willingness to operate industrial lift equipment. Preferred
