Assembler II; 1st Shift

Overview

Badger Meter is an employee-centered water technology company. Join the Racine assembly team as an Assembler II and play a key role in delivering reliable water solutions.

• Assemble components with precision and care, following Work Instructions.
• Ensure quality standards are met at every step of the process.
• Maintain a safe, collaborative, and supportive workplace.
• Use basic printing programs to complete customer orders and make adjustments as needed.
• Enter customer order activity in the Production system, view work instructions, and report completed work.
• Take initiative to prioritize items and seek additional information from lead or Supervisor when necessary.

• High School Diploma or GED required; preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing.

• Collaboration – work effectively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.
• Communication – convey information clearly and concisely, listen actively.
• Initiating Action – take prompt action, be proactive to achieve results beyond what is required.
• Work Standards – set high performance standards for self and others, assume accountability and self-impose excellence.

Manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and pass an audiogram test. Employees in the Aerospace department must pass vision, color vision, and depth perception tests. Requires good manual dexterity, coordination, stamina, and wearing personal protective gear most of the day.
