Assembler II; 3rd Shift

Assembler II – 3rd Shift (11:00pm–7:30am, Sunday–Thursday) – Racine, WI (8635 Washington Ave., Mt.Pleasant). Salary: $20 per hour.

• Assemble parts according to specified work instructions and/or drawings.
• Use hand, battery, electric, and pneumatic powered tools for assemblies.
• Operate laser etcher, dot‑peen etcher, and engraver to produce customer‑specified modifications.
• Use basic printing programs to complete customer orders and adjust as necessary.
• Record daily customer order activity in the production system, view work instructions, and report completed work.
• Navigate LX screens to identify inventory requirements and status; make adjustments as required.
• Take initiative to complete priority items and seek additional information from lead or supervisor when needed.
• Participate in and contribute to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost continuous improvement efforts.
• Train others in the department.
• Perform basic 5S and Lean concepts to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workplace.

High School Diploma or GED (preferred). 3+ years of assembly/manufacturing experience desired.

• Understand gluing and centering to specific tolerances across multiple product lines.
• Ability to use function generators and a multimeter (if applicable).
• Basic proficiency with computers, including an ERP system and Microsoft Office.

• Manufacturing environment; may lift up to 60pounds.
• Must pass an audiogram test; those in Aerospace must pass a vision, color vision, and depth‑perception test.
• Require good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
• Must wear personal protective gear most of the day.
