Production Associate
Join a leading manufacturer specializing in PCB/PCBA boards. As a Production Associate, you will work in one of three primary areas:
Surface Mount Technology (SMT), PTH Insertion Machine, or final assembly. Each area requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to handle machinery and components efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Load blank PCB/PCBA boards into the SMT machine and monitor SMT lines.
- Load and unload component reels into machines, requiring the handling of reels up to 5lbs and carts of 30lbs.
- Transition boards from SMT to PTH lines, feeding reels of components into machines.
- Ensure solder paste levels remain full during wave machine processes.
- Mount completed PCB/PCBA boards into server boxes following a build sheet.
- Utilize hand and power tools to secure assemblies and conduct pass/fail tests on completed boxes.
- Document the movement and status of completed boxes in designated areas.
Essential Skills
- Experience in production, assembly, and machine operation.
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
- Capability to pass a 5th-grade math test.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- At least 1 year of work history.

Work Environment
The facility operates on three shifts: 1st shift from 7am-3:30pm, 2nd shift from 3pm-11:30pm, and 3rd shift from 11:30pm-7:30am. Optional overtime is available on weekends. Employees work in an ESD facility requiring smocks and heel straps, ensuring a safe and professional atmosphere.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.80/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
