General Labor/Material Handler Responsibilities:- Remove (de-nest) laser-cut parts from metal sheets safely and efficiently
- Verify parts against work orders, prints, and production documentation
- Ensure part counts are accurate and properly documented
- Identify and report quality concerns, defects, or damaged parts
- Sort, stage, and deliver material to the appropriate departments
- Maintain material flow throughout the manufacturing process
- Enter production and inventory data into the ERP system (Global Shop)
- Communicate effectively with laser operators, production personnel, and supervisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist with inventory control and material handling activities as required
- Follow all quality, safety, and company procedures
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous manufacturing or material handling experience preferred
Technical assembly or fabrication experience is highly desirable
Basic computer skills required
Experience using ERP systems, preferably Global Shop, is a plus
Must be able to drive a forklift
