Shift: 2nd Shift

Hours:

03:30 PM - 02:00 AM Monday
-Thursday

This is a potential to hire position.

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Welder position at a company in Racine, WI.

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal materials
• Set up welding equipment and fixtures for production jobs
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately
• Fabricate and assemble metal components to precise tolerances
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

• Proven experience as a MIG/TIG Welder/Fabricator
• Strong setup and fixture experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• High level of workmanship and attention to detail
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment
• Welding certifications are a plus
