Sheet Metal Cutting On Shear And Cutting Line
Notches and pierces parts on Finn-Power turret punch press. Makes setup and adjustments to machine. Uses PC to observe automatic nesting/sorting NC Express programs and to make adjustments to part programs. Monitors quality of product, maintains tooling, basic maintenance on machine, cleans machine weekly, and maintains a clean safe work environment.

- Operates turret punch press

- Performs quality checks and records data
- Checks prints and sets up machine
- Maintains tooling
- Basic maintenance of machine
- Keeps a clean safe work area
- Cleans machine
Formal Finn-Power training in machine operation and controls. Formal Finn-Power training on automatic nesting of programs and monitoring programs. Formal Finn-Power training on automatic sorting of parts and monitoring location. Personal Computer and keyboard capability. Blue print reading. Should take 6 months of punch press experience to be 90% proficient.
