This
maintenance technician is responsible for providing manufacturing operations with the required support relative to machine repair, preventative maintenance, installation, and continuous improvement.

The
Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing manufacturing operations with the required support relative to machine repair, preventative maintenance, installation and continuous improvement.

• Checks the operation of machines and trouble-shoots electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, equipment and automation problems.
• Performs complex preventative and predictive maintenance on machines and equipment using various tools and equipment.
• Trouble-shoots electrical and electronic controls on manufacturing equipment for rebuilding, repairing or fabricating purposes.
• Modifies and rebuilds manufacturing equipment to meet new machine requirements or production demands with engineering support. Provides input to proposed manufacturing equipment. Installs capital equipment.
• Understands and interprets electronic schematics for trouble-shooting electronic equipment with minimal assistance.
• Maintains work orders on a daily and weekly basis. Documents all machine preventative, predictive and/or maintenance repairs clearly and concisely for historical and future maintenance purposes.
• Service level skills in MIG and/or TIG welding.
• Repair broken components where factors such as position or load may impact the repair, such as motor mounting plates or conveyor legs.

• Use vertical mill/drill and other machining tool
• Ability to utilize the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software to enter and retrieve prescribed data
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of CNC machine tools including but not limited to vertical machining centers, horizontal machine centers, saws, Tube Laser, mechanical & progressive die press, etc.
