General Labor / Material Handler

Wage: $20.00 - $23.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours:

3:30pm - 2:00am (Monday - Thursday)

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a General Labor / Material Handler at a company in Racine, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 2nd shift.

• Remove laser-cut parts from metal sheets safely and efficiently
• Verify parts against work orders, prints, and production documentation
• Ensure part counts are accurate and properly documented
• Identify and report quality concerns, defects, or damaged parts
• Sort, stage and deliver material to the appropriate departments
• Maintain material flow throughout the manufacturing process
• Enter production and inventory data into the ERP system (Global Shop)
• Communicate effectively with laser operators, production personnel, and supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assist with inventory control and material handling activities as required
• Follow all quality, safety, and company procedures

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous manufacturing or material handling experience preferred
• Technical assembly or fabrication experience is highly desirable
• Basic computer skills
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably Global Shop is a plus
• Able to drive a forklift
