As a Landscaping Crew Member, you will provide a variety of landscape activities on behalf of Medxcel throughout the assigned working location of Wheaton All Saints – Racine, WI.
Responsibilities- Planting, weeding, digging, spreading topsoil and other materials
- General lawn maintenance: grass cutting, edging, weed pulling
- Operate lawn mowers and related equipment
- Seasonal lawn care: spring and fall clean‑up
- Move materials and equipment and assist in landscaping and hardscaping
- Digs holes and trenches, excavates for landscaping and hardscaping using picks and shovels or related equipment
- Haul or spread topsoil, gravel, sand, mulch, or related materials using wheelbarrows and rakes
- Hand‑finish grade and apply seed, straw, or sod
- Maintain assigned equipment and report needed repairs to the Landscaping Supervisor
- Respond politely to customer inquiries and project a professional image
- Report to work at the required time and perform duties as assigned by the Landscaping Supervisor
- Load equipment and materials on and off trucks and trailers
- Perform snow removal activities as assigned, such as shoveling, salting
- Assist Facilities Maintenance staff on projects as assigned
- Apply chemicals under the direction of a licensed chemical applicator
- Some high school or equivalent required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- State driver’s license and insurable with company’s agent preferred
- Experience in the landscaping field preferred
- Must be able to read and write in English
