Badger Talent Solutions is seeking a Quality Engineer for a full‑time, on‑site opportunity in Racine, WI
. This role is ideal for a quality professional who enjoys being hands‑on in manufacturing while driving continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and process excellence.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining the Quality Management System, leading root cause investigations, improving manufacturing processes, and working closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to ensure the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead customer quality activities, including complaints, RMAs, corrective actions, and PPAP submissions
  • Drive root cause analysis, 8D investigations, Lean initiatives, and continuous improvement projects
  • Program and utilize CMM (PC‑DMIS) while supporting first article, in-process, and capability studies
  • Maintain and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, audits, documentation, and calibration programs
  • Partner with manufacturing and suppliers to improve quality performance, reduce scrap, and lower DPPM
  • Train and support production teams on inspection methods, quality standards, and best practices
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience programming CMMs using PC‑DMIS
  • Understanding of PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, GD&T, and statistical process control
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis, 8D, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use precision inspection equipment
  • Experience with Minitab, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
  • Comfortable working both on the production floor and in an office environment
