Security Officer - Rover Driver in Racine, WI serves and safeguards clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to deter security-related incidents, assist guests and store teams with customer service, and document activity. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment while living Allied Universal values of integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and a people-first culture.

A valid driver’s license is required per AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including customer disputes, lost and found situations, medical calls, and policy violations, and notify site leadership and/or public services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of sales floors, common areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
  • Monitor access points and help manage guest flow, including observing for prohibited behavior, verifying authorized access to back-of-house areas, and assisting with deliveries and vendor check-in per post orders.
  • Complete required documentation such as shift activity logs, patrol reports, and incident reports, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
