Quad in Lomira is seeking a candidate for our Pre‑Apprentice Mechanical Maintenance Trainee program. Career paths provide a glimpse into a world‑class maintenance environment while completing related classes.
The wage range for this position is $18 - $25/hr, depending on experience.

• Current Quad employees seeking career advancement
• Students in mechanical or industrial maintenance programs

• Paid, on‑job training
• Experience with advanced manufacturing equipment, including robotics
• In‑demand maintenance and troubleshooting skills
• State of Wisconsin Certificate of Apprenticeship upon completion

• Safety & Operations: OSHA standards, tools, and equipment operation
• Mechanical Systems:
  Bearings, belts, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, motors
• Hydraulics & Pneumatics:
  System components, troubleshooting, repair
• Installation & Setup:
  Rigging, alignment, equipment start‑up
• Maintenance:
  Preventive and predictive diagnostics
• Machining & Fabrication:
  Shop equipment, welding, and basic metalwork

• 8,000-hour structured apprenticeship
• Includes paid related instruction
• Hands‑on mentoring in a manufacturing environment
