Job Purpose:

As the onsite HVAC point of contact, you will troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical concerns, perform routine preventative maintenance, ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently and in compliance with industry and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • As the HVAC Maintenance Technician, you will be a go-to expert for ensuring the smooth operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across a diverse mix of new, aging, and historic buildings, including office, R&D and Training Centers.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure minimal disruption to daily office operations. Installing, rebuilding or replacing equipment and parts.
  • Maintaining and monitoring BAS-Building Automation System performance and adjustments to improve energy efficiency.
  • Collaborating across the Facilities and Site team to support general building maintenance and other facility needs as necessary.
  • Maintain logs and PM schedules of system operations and work performed using computer systems.
  • Use hand tools, digital tools, power tools and other equipment to complete jobs efficiently.

Site Operations:

  • Work Monday – Friday on site daily, first shift with occasional on-call hours for emergencies.
  • Partner and engage with HVAC contractors while working on CNH buildings.
  • Keep work areas safe, wearing or using safety equipment and tools, and abiding by established safety policies and procedures.

Experience

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in the HVAC field with large scale refrigeration and commercial HVAC
  • Ability to identify mechanical and electrical malfunctions using testing equipment, gauges and diagnostic tools
  • Working with a BAS-Building Automated System

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multi-trade facility maintenance experience in addition to HVAC, including plumbing, and general building systems, is highly preferred.
  • Completion of a HVAC trade school or formal apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, within multiple campus buildings.
  • EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
  • OSHA commercial course on hazard protocols.
  • Skilled in quick and effective resolution of site issues and emergencies.

Pay Transparency:
