GC Maintenance - Elect/ Mech Tech 3rd Shift
Perform PM (Preventive Maintenance) on all equipment according to instructions provided with work order (MTO) and directions from group leader. Repair equipment by cleaning, replacing defective parts, motors, etc. per work order. Installs, test and maintains mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic tools, and electrical equipment and fixtures per work order. Performs repairs on equipment such as pumps, punch presses, press brakes, fin presses, turret presses, rivet guns, etc.
Adhere to all company safety, environmental, and property protection policies
- Ability to dismantle, repair, install all types of manufacturing equipment
- Ability to operate Band Saws, Lathes, Drill Press, and Welders
- Evaluate and recommend improvements and/or repair methods for equipment
- Ability to function in a team orientated work place
- Ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings
- Perform repairs on electronically controlled equipment, gauges, hoists, etc
AAS in related field a plus
Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance role
Proficient in mathematics
Very good mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of PLC's and troubleshooting
Knowledge of Fin Press operation a plus
Basic Industrial Electrical knowledge
Minimal travel involved, but may be required.
