Role Overview
This position is for a regional CDL‑A driver responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, primarily using intermodal freight. The role offers an activity‑based pay plan that rewards safety, efficiency, and a strong work ethic, with an average annual earning potential of $80,000.
Key Responsibilities- Operate trucks with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Handle various pay‑eligible activities such as drop and hook, live load/unload, cross‑town moves, and more
- Manage detention, layover, and other special pay conditions
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, and adhere to safety protocols
- Collaborate with onsite management and maintain communication throughout routes
- CDL‑A license
- Strong work ethic and safety focus
- Ability to handle diverse freight and pay activities
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to safety and efficiency
