This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role based in Louisville, KY. The Senior Accountant will oversee general ledger activities, prepare and review journal entries, and ensure accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, reconciling accounts, and monitoring cash flow. The role will manage accounts payable and receivable processes, assist with cost accounting related to material handling projects, and maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls.

The Senior Accountant will collaborate with management to provide financial analysis, support audits, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, including GAAP, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting tools.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet tools.
• Understanding of cost accounting, project accounting, and inventory-related transactions in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to interpret financial data, prepare clear reports and communicate findings to stakeholders at different levels.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Prior experience in a senior or lead accounting role, preferably within manufacturing, industrial services, or material handling.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing business needs.
