The Registered Nurse position is responsible for caring for the residents of the Carl M. Brashear Radcliff Veterans Center.

• Perform nursing duties under direction of a physician.
• Perform medical treatments and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collect assessment data and care for residents within the scope of RN clinical skills.
• Supervise other clinical staff in administering care to residents and document essential information.

This position, in org unit , Hardin County, has an approved Locality Premium of $6.37 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).

Must be licensed in Kentucky as a registered nurse or possess a valid work permit issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing. Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification. Work is typically performed in a hospital or institutional setting. May be exposed to hazards common in hospitals or institutional settings which requires following safety procedures.

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
