Summary Job Description
Now Hiring for Security Officers for the new Freestanding Emergency Department at Radcliff Opening in Fall 2026! Security Officer Part-Time 7:30a - 8p. We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team at Baptist Health Hardin. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to maintain a safe secure environment within the healthcare facility.
Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols and monitor surveillance.
- Respond to emergencies and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Report out-of-the-ordinary activity in and around the hospital/grounds.
- Provide security escorts as needed.
- Conduct investigations and complete reports.
- Provide excellent customer service toward patients, families, and employees.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid KY driver’s license with satisfactory driving record as defined by Baptist Health Hardin policy.
- Good organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work well with others and present a professional appearance.
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
- International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) certification preferred.
