Job DescriptionReporting to the Assistant Director of Business Operations the primary responsibility will be the day-to-day direction and coordination of Facilities maintenance projects and campus event support. This will require daily communications with customers, facilities staff, campus stakeholders, and vendors. This position will be responsible for scheduling activities to best support Facilities renovation projects and campus events. This position will procure and track costs for supplies, materials, and contract labor in the execution of projects, maintenance, and events.
This position will be responsible for ensuring estimates are provided to customer as requested.
Experience with building maintenance and/or construction/renovation. Experience reading architectural plans and specifications. Experience with work management systems, spreadsheets, word documents, and estimating. Demonstrated application of analytical and reasoning skills necessary for evaluation processes, judgement, and independent action is critical. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Must be able to work collaboratively with diverse constituencies including students, faculty, and staff.
Valid driver's license required.
This position is designated as essential personnel.
Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a higher education environment. Experience with event management or at an event venue.
