Patient Care Coordinator

Our office, NRV Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery - Radford, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our busy specialty practice. This position also supports our Blacksburg location as requested.

• Welcoming patients to the dental office
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Answering all incoming calls and redirecting them or keeping messages
• Check, sort and forward emails
• Keep updates records and files
• Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper ect.)
• Able to travel to Blacksburg office as needed

As an essential member of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.

• Pay based on experience
• Dental or medical experience preferred but not required
• Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
• Strong communication and people skills
• Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Problem-solving skills
• Customer service orientation
• A high school diploma
• Desires to help your patients
• Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to operate standard office equipment
• Must be able to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas
• Must be able to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods
• Must be able to work around medical equipment and instruments
• Must be able to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
• Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations

Position Base Pay Range $15 - $20 USD
